These Terms and Conditions govern all online purchases made through www.mayangaconnect.co.za (“the Website”). By placing an order on the Website, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

ONLINE SALES ONLY

 

• • Mayanga Connect sells goods exclusively online via www.mayangaconnect.co.za.
  • We do not appoint distributors, resellers, agents, or representatives.
  • No sales are concluded verbally, by email, or outside the Website checkout system.

 

PRICES

 

• • All prices displayed on the Website are valid at the time of purchase.
  • Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable South African rate.
  • Delivery charges, if applicable, are displayed separately during checkout.

 

ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE

 

• • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the goods subject to these Terms.
  • An order is deemed accepted only once payment has been successfully received and an electronic order confirmation has been issued.
  • Mayanga Connect reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch, including due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
  • If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be processed.

 

PAYMENT

 

• • Payment is due in full at checkout using the payment methods made available on the Website.
  • No credit, lay-by, or deferred payment options are offered.
  • Orders will not be processed or dispatched until payment has cleared.

 

DELIVERY

 

• • Goods are delivered via third-party courier services to the delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.
  • Any shortages or transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Delivery fees, where applicable, are for the customer’s account and displayed at checkout.

 

OWNERSHIP

 

• • Ownership of goods remains vested in Mayanga Connect until full payment has been received.
  • Once payment has cleared and goods have been dispatched, ownership transfers to the customer upon delivery.

 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

 

• • Returns are governed by the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
  • Customers may return goods within 7 days of delivery if the goods are unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
  • Return shipping costs are for the customer’s account unless the goods are defective or incorrectly supplied.
  • Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time after inspection of returned goods.
  • No refunds will be issued for goods damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or use outside manufacturer specifications.

 

DEFECTIVE GOODS AND WARRANTIES

 

• • Goods are covered only by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, where provided.
  • Warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase.
  • Warranties are void if goods have been tampered with, modified, or used outside manufacturer specifications.
  • Mayanga Connect’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund, at its discretion, in accordance with the CPA.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

• • To the extent permitted by law, Mayanga Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of the goods.
  • Products must be used strictly in accordance with applicable regulations and intended use.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

• • Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • Customer data is used solely for order fulfilment, customer communication, and legal compliance.
  • We do not sell or unlawfully share customer information with third parties.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

• • All Website content, images, product descriptions, (except for supplier images and descriptions) and branding remain the intellectual property of Mayanga Connect.

GOVERNING LAW

 

• • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
